The fear and excitement were immense as I lay on the edge of a cliff, strapped into position to jump off at once. The moment I leaped off, the free fall gave me an indescribable thrill.

India’s adventure capital is often referred to as Rishikesh. Because of the Ganges’ tumultuous waters, it’s a great place to go white-water rafting.
