Ganesh Chaturthi 2024: A Grand Celebration at Antilia

Ganesh Chaturthi is a popular Hindu festival in India. It honors the elephant-headed god Ganesha. This year, the Ambani family held a big celebration at their home, Antilia, in Mumbai.

The Ambani family is known for their wealth. Their home, Antilia, is a large, expensive building in Mumbai. Each year, their Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is a major event in the city. The Ambanis mix traditional religious practices with high-end luxury in their festival. Their celebration is famous for being very grand and costly. Many people in Mumbai look forward to seeing how the Ambanis will celebrate each year.

Thousands of Reliance employees were treated to a breathtaking view of Lord Ganesha’s statue, set against the grandeur of Antilia. The festivities commenced with the Ganpati Darshan at 11:30 am, where the Ambani family, including newlyweds Anant and Radhika Ambani, along with Isha, Nita, Mukesh Ambani, and matriarch Kokilaben Ambani, were present.

A Festive Atmosphere at Antilia

The Ambanis’ celebration stood out for its unique blend of tradition and luxury. Employees at Antilia enjoyed a special Gujarati meal served in silverware, adding a touch of opulence to the festivities. The outside lobby of the building was transformed into a Mandal, a special area for worship, with a statue of Lord Ganesha at its center. This setup created a sacred space within the luxurious surroundings of Antilia.

Religious ceremonies played a central role in the celebration. Multiple priests performed rituals throughout the event, carrying out special religious acts to honor Lord Ganesha. Adding to the spiritual atmosphere, a group of musicians played hymns during the puja (prayer ceremony). These religious songs helped create a devotional mood for the celebration.

While following traditional norms, the Ambani family added its unique brand of grandeur. They celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi according to tradition, but they added opulent touches to make it extra special. The Ambanis’ Ganesh Chaturthi festivities are now known for their unique style of fusing sacred customs with contemporary grandeur.

Newlyweds Anant and Radhika Ambani’s First Ganesh Chaturthi

Anant and Radhika Ambani’s first Ganesh Chaturthi as a married couple was a highlight of the celebrations. The couple brought home a majestic Ganpati idol on Friday night. Their joyful reception of the idol was captured on video and went viral on social media, showcasing their festive spirit. Radhika looked radiant in a traditional red salwar suit, while Anant was dressed in a vibrant tangerine kurta and matching jacket. Mukesh Ambani, dressed simply in a white shirt, and his daughter Isha, in a graceful green outfit, were seen welcoming the Ganpati idol into their home.

The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration held at Antilia was not only a star-studded celebration but also a family affair. Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan were among the celebrities who attended the event. The presence of notable figures like as Boman Irani, Sachin Tendulkar, Suniel Shetty, and Prakash Padukone elevated the event’s richness. Antilia, the Ambani family’s home, served as the hub of Mumbai’s celebrations, blending traditional and contemporary elements.
